The promotional video of the Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton, Visit Sarajevo Where Cultures Embrace, has been ranked second in the world in the City Promotion category at the annual CIFFT Awards, the most prestigious global competition for tourism films.
CIFFT, the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals, represents the highest global standard in tourism audiovisual promotion. It brings together the most renowned international festivals, and its ranking list is considered the official world ranking of tourism films. Each year, more than 4,000 promotional videos from nearly 50 countries compete within the CIFFT Circuit. Winning a CIFFT award means joining the world’s elite and receiving the highest level of international recognition, visibility, and professional validation of quality and creativity.
Prior to receiving this global distinction, the video, created by the Bosnian production company Gotiva, achieved an impressive series of international awards, including second place at the ART and TUR International Tourism Film Festival in Portugal, second place at the Terres Travel Festival Films and Creativity in Spain, second place at the Zagreb TourFilm Festival in Croatia, second place at the Amorgos Tourism Film Festival in Greece, and the Audience Grand Prix at the TEF Festival of Tourism and Ethno Film in Krk, Croatia.
