Sarajevo was presented at the Muslim Travel Show in London as one of Europe’s leading Muslim-friendly destinations.
For the third year in a row, the Tourism Association of Canton Sarajevo participated as an official partner of this leading halal travel event, together with co-exhibitors 5D Travel and Balkan Travelink, with the aim of strengthening the destination’s visibility and increasing interest from international markets.
Emina Nizić (TZKS) presented the Visit Sarajevo project “Feel the Spirit of Ramadan”, highlighting Ramadan traditions, Islamic culture, and Sarajevo’s authentic spiritual atmosphere. Dino Selimović (MVP BiH) spoke about connecting halal tourism with investment opportunities, trade, and international cooperation.
The strong interest shown by visitors, media, and influencers confirms Sarajevo’s growing image as an attractive halal-friendly destination.
The direct flight route London–Sarajevo further enhances the destination’s accessibility and connectivity with this key market. Bosnia and Herzegovina ranks among the Top 10 halal-friendly destinations in Europe (GMTI 2025), while Sarajevo continues to position itself as one of the most authentic Muslim-friendly destinations in the region.
