In the heart of Baščaršija there is the Sevdah House, where there are personal items of thirty of the most prominent performers of Sevdalinka and composer, who gave a remarkable contribution to this cultural treasure. Sevdalinka is in BiH something like fado music in Portugal, with sevdalinka being older for several years. They are melancholy melodies and sad texts, and the sensitivity of the great desire created by unhappy, never-realized love.
