The Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton, together with representatives of the tourism sector, is taking part in the prestigious tourism fair in Izmir, with the aim of strengthening its presence on the Turkish market and promoting Sarajevo as an attractive year-round destination.
On the first day of the fair, a gastronomic promotion was organized at the Sarajevo Canton stand, where visitors had the opportunity to taste traditional Bosnian specialties. The lively atmosphere and strong visitor turnout once again confirmed the high level of interest in the destination.
As tourists from Türkiye are among the most frequent visitors to Sarajevo Canton and consistently rank among the top three in terms of arrivals and overnight stays throughout the year, participation in this fair holds particular importance for further strengthening tourism ties between the two countries.
