Following the first edition of the Solo Improvisation Award competition, a concert by the MAS Impro Ensemble will be held at the University of Sarajevo Academy of Music. On April 16, 2026, at 7:30 PM, the ensemble will be joined by Solo Improvisation Award winners Katarina Dadić (guitar) and Ivan Bonić (accordion), Solo Improvisation recognition recipient Ivan Filipović (piano), guest students from regional music academies (participants of the Free Improvisation in Composition workshop), and alumni of the MAS Impro Ensemble.
The competition was realized through four categories: Category A (MAS Impro Ensemble Alumni Club), Category B (students of the Free Improvisation in Composition course), Category C (Exceptional Talent, ages 18-26, open to musicians not affiliated with the ensemble), and Category D (Wunderkind, up to 18 years old).

Katarina Dadić (2001), the winner of Category B and the competition laureate, is a fourth-year guitar student at the University of Sarajevo Academy of Music. She previously studied in Zadar and Nikšić and has won awards at international competitions, including the Montenegro International Guitar Competition and the Zagreb Guitar Festival, alongside concert performances and participation in the SONEMUS New Generation 2025 festival program.

Ivan Bonić (2003), the winner of Category C, is an accordion student at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, where he concurrently studies instrumental pedagogy. He is active as a soloist and chamber musician in an international context, focusing on contemporary music, improvisation, and interdisciplinary projects, including KUG productions, Graz Opera projects, and the Live Music Now organization, alongside receiving the Hans-Schaeuble Recognition (Arosa Music Academy).

Ivan Filipović (2005), the recipient of the special recognition for outstanding artistic potential in Category C, is a piano student at the University of East Sarajevo Academy of Music and an award winner at competitions such as Skala, Primavera, Sinfonia di Sale, Contrapunctus, BIMC, and Rachmaninoff.
The jury members were Dr. Hanan Hadžajlić (composer, flutist, and artistic director of the MAS Impro Ensemble), M.A. Rijad Šarić (saxophonist and member of the MAS Impro Ensemble), and M.A. Aida Adžović (musicologist and concert producer).
