The Sarajevo City Card offers a unique way to explore Sarajevo. You get access to all major highlights and more than 10 museums, city-wide public transport, a cable car and more discount options.
Major benefits include saving money by getting exclusive discounts at attractions, restaurants, concerts and other events.
How it works?
The City Card in three simple steps:
Get your card
Order your City Card online, or swing by the Visit Sarajevo info desk at Sarajevo Airport to buy one.
Activate your card
The City Card is activated at first use. So the first time you visit a museum or attraction or use public transport.
Use your card
To visit City Card locations, show your card when visiting or controlled by a controller at any bus, tram, or trolley bus.
Good to know:
About activating your City Card:
The City Card is activated when entering a museum, attraction, or public transport. After the activation, your City Card is valid for 24 or 72 hours, depending on your card purchase.
Visiting museums and attractions:
Present your City Card at the ticket counter of participating museums and attractions, and you will gain entrance.
Sarajevo Cable Car:
One return ticket for the Sarajevo City Card is included in the Sarajevo City Card. Please pick up your valid ticket for the Sarajevo City Card at the Cable Car sales point.
Public transport in Sarajevo:
The City Card is valid on all transport by the city public company GRAS. You can recognize the GRAS by its blue and yellow logo. The GRAS operates Sarajevo’s bus, tram, and trolley bus lines. You don’t need to check into GRAS transport unless the controller or public transport driver won’t controls the City Card.
If you are using the mobile app or digital ticket, and have access on a mobile device, do not give your device, it is enough to show the ticket on your device!
