Youth Film Festival (OFF) Sarajevo has a tradition of 11 years. The original and primary reason for its establishment was the activation and promotion of young people and their values.
FOR 13 YEARS WE HAVE BEEN PROMOTING AND FOLLOWING YOUNG FILM AUTHORS, BEFORE US IS THE 12TH EDITION OF THE FESTIVAL
We have been promoting debutants and young filmmakers from the region and Europe for 13 years. So far, we have presented close to 80 new young authors from around the world and close to 300 films. On average, the annual Festival features 30 authors from 11 countries. Every year, the festival gathers an increasing number of young authors, but also guests who recognize our commitment to short student professional and amateur film. The attendance of the Festival in the last two years has reached the number of 10,000 visitors during the 5 days of the Festival, 200 accredited guests (per Festival) and 30 journalist teams, of which 5 are international eminent media. What makes OFF different from other Festivals is that this is a Festival for and about young people. The organization of the Festival consists of the youngest Festival team in the world, where the average age of employees is 22
The Sarajevo Youth Film Festival focuses on regional short student and amateur feature films. The goal is to promote young filmmakers from Southeast Europe and create a platform and environment within which they can present their professional and amateur films and gain new contacts and connections for further action.
