The Javorwood Art Festival on Bjelašnica in Javorovo Do is being held for the seventh time this year, and will last from 2 to 7 August.
The festival promotes young artists and creators from the region and thus gives young people the opportunity to present and exchange their talents, knowledge and skills. As part of the festival, an art residence was organized, where performers can stay for six days at the festival location in Javorovo Do, and create their own works.
The Javorwood Festival along with its trademark was officially born in 2015.
Compared to the first year, the festival has extended to more art scenes, and the festival scene has become international, with artists not only from the region, but also beyond.
“For six years we have been successfully growing in realizing our idea of attracting society to the mountain environment, in enjoying the natural beauties offered by our country. The annual growth of festival visitors, which is recorded, is an indicator of successfully transferred love for nature to our guests.” say the organizers.
